Imperfect Osteogenesis is a genetic origin disorder characterized mainly by extreme bone fragility with frequent fractures which cause is determined by the insufficient production or poor quality of type 1 collagen.
The Noel Clinic Foundation offers a comprehensive program to these patients and their families throughout the care process, through an interdisciplinary team that has established itself as a benchmark center not only in Antioquia, but also in the country and even in Latin America.
We have pioneered a surgical technique for the correct alignment of long bones, reducing fracture possibility and improving functionality in patients with this condition.
